Tarjeta Naranja was created in Córdoba, Argentina in 1985, as a local credit card for a Sports trade center. Tarjeta Naranja rapidly growed and started being use by 40,000 families in Córdoba to pay all type of services.
In 1995, Banco Galicia Argentina bought part of Tarjeta Naranja stocks, helping even more in the growth and expansion of customers and services around all the country.
In 1998 Tarjeta Naranja signed a strategic alliance with VISA and in 2005 with Mastercard, which allows today the use of Tarjeta Naranja around the word.
Today Tarjeta Naranaja has offices not only in Argentina but also in Republica Dominicana and Peru.
In 2010 Tarjeta Naranja started a Project of “Technology Modernization”, so the infrastructure and operation could support the new dimension of their business.
Tarjeta Naranja started looking for the best tool which could help them use their Statements as a real communication channel, printing documents all over the country. One of their main objective was to select a robust tool which could be easily integrated with their systems and platforms and accompany them in their growth.
Tarjeta Naranja installed CCM (DOC1) running un AIX to manage their 5.6 million of credit card statements in Argentina
